Per Request, here is a little history of each member!

Many people have been asking about each member, how they all got together and what the individual musical histories were for each member.  Here is some of  that information, but not all of it.  (We wish to protect the innocent! )

Glenn Salter - John

Glenn moved to CA with a record deal in 1986.  If you watched MTV in its early years, you would have seen him.  He has toured the U.S., has several albums out which he wrote and were recorded by his prior groups and other popular artists.  Glenn has always loved the Beatles music as they were his earliest musical influence. "To play that music now is a pure pleasure." Glenn, like John, has a voice which takes you from John's softest ballads to the most racous of his songs.

Chip - George

Chip is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist who brings that special something to the group in replicating George's playing and singing abilities.  Chip is constantly working on getting just the right guitar sound for every song.  He loves all good music but gets a particular kick out of performing the Beatles music.

Alex Ruiz - Paul

Alex was the second member to join JPGR with Glenn.  Alex has always loved Beatles music since first learning guitar at the age of 12.  Alex has also won prior competitions in sound alike singing of Paul and performance at the Los Angeles Beatlefest.

"I love playing Beatles music, it is so fun and powerful."

Alex is the melodic singer of the group, just like Paul was.

Mark Mesi - Ringo

Mark came to us out of nowhere and we knew he was to be our drummer after our very first song together. Mark is the perfect Ringo.  Great backbeat, great vocals and great guy.  Mark is a very strong and consistent drummer who can also sing amazingly like Ringo as well as supporting JPGR with backing vocals!  He will also provide a few unexpected moments during performances so be watching!

Martyn Evans - Soundman
            (from EKG)

Martyn Evans is the phenomenal soundmand and recording engineer for JPGR a Tribute.  Martyn comes from a musical performing background and still plays.  His remarkable equipment tied to his experience and good ears make for a profound listening event for all who attend JPGR performances. Always the perfectionist, Martyn strives for excellence!
