JPGR: A Tribute at Galco's Soda Pop Shop
JPGR made an official publicity visit to Galco's Soda Pop Shop. Why? Galco's had just painted a new mural on their historical building which displayed each member of The Beatles on a bottle of soda (pop). This was a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing history of Galco's, the Beatles and our group.
We were honored to be able to be a part of the celebration. JPGR then did an impromptu acoustic performance inside of Galco's. You can see it on the Facebook page and it will be uploaded here.
Galco's is an amazing store with so many different flavors, you won't be able to make up your mind. It seemed the group had some favorite flavors from the huge selections of treats; Glenn (John) liked the Cream Soda the best, Larry (George) was seen with some cucumber flavored soda, Alex (Paul) was found drinking a Root Beer, Richard (Ringo) wasn't speaking much as he was eating a Clark Bar! All these and more good things can be found at Galco's.
JPGR would like to thank the owner, John Nese for sharing his knowledge of all of his products and his love of the music of The Beatles as well. He is a super wonderful guy! Just drop by say hi and enjoy all the fabulous flavors.

JPGR: A Recording
JPGR: A Tribute, is recording some of their favorites frome The Beatles. They are concentrating on recording the music as it would be presented LIVE, so there's no over-dubbing. There is a bit of ADT (Automatic Double Tracking) going on, which is also applied during live performances. So basically what you hear is what you'll get, when you come out to enjoy them live!
JPGR will continue to record more songs and post them on the site as well as on Facebook, Reverbnation, etc.
If there is enough demand for a particular song from a significant amount of fans they may consider recording more specific songs to meet that demand.
Just write to HPGR and let them know. After all, they are here to bring YOU the Beatles music done as close to the original recordings as possible, live!
